until they are interrupted from the alien Shriek creature from before and once again fight it. Robin and Starfire come very close to at long last confessing their secret feelings. Robin manages to save both himself and Starfire and they find shelter in a cave and finally begin to talk about their relationship and true feelings for each other. ![]() However, they later find themselves in danger when they fall off a cliff and Robin discovers Starfire can’t use her powers. When the team find themselves stranded and separated on an unknown alien planet, Robin searches for Starfire, but when they finally reunite, Starfire is cold and distant towards Robin as she is still upset with him and wants an explanation why she isn’t his girlfriend to which Robin is unable to give a proper answer but attempts to make amends with Starfire. Embarrassed, Robin declares Starfire isn’t her girlfriend, greatly upsetting her so much so that she is unable to use her powers throughout most of the episode. ![]() Robin is shocked and embarrassed as Cyborg’s statement reveals he along with everyone on the team are well aware of his and Starfire’s romantic feelings for each other. When they congratulate each other, Cyborg teases them about their relationship and calls Starfire Robin’s girlfriend. During a mission in space, the Titans battle against an alien Shriek creature, but only Robin and Starfire are successfully in defeating it. This is the fourth, but most important episode that focuses on Robin and Starfire’s love for each other when they confront the true nature of their relationship for the very first time. However, Starfire selects her caretaker, Galfore to become Tamaran’s ruler as she chooses to return to Earth and the Teen Titans. Starfire battles against Blackfire for the Crown and succeeds, banishing Blackfire from Tamaran, but it appears that Starfire has to remain behind to rule her planet, much to the heartbreak of the team, but especially Robin. Robin and the Titans learn the truth that Blackfire orchestrated the event to seek revenge against Starfire and manage to stop the wedding. Although Starfire does her best to hide her feelings, she is greatly upset that she has to marry someone she doesn’t love, but puts her feelings aside for the good of her homeworld. Similar to Starfire, Robin is out of his mind with jealousy and refuses to stand by and watch as Starfire marries an ugly alien creature and becomes suspicious when he learns about Blackfire’s involvement. In this episode, Robin becomes jealous for the very first time when Starfire is forced into an arranged marriage when she must return to Tamaran and protect it from a potential alien invasion. This is the third episode focusing on Robin and Starfire’s romance. By the end of the episode, Robin comforts Starfire on the roof of Titans Tower and assures her no could ever take her place and they share a beautiful romantic moment as the sun rises. When they reunite with the rest of the team, they learn the truth about Blackfire and her criminal activities. However, they are interrupted when Starfire is kidnapped but Robin is successful in rescuing her. However, when Blackfire is offered to become an official member of the Teen Titans, Starfire decides to leave Earth, but Robin stops her before she can. Everyone is completely unaware of Starfire’s hurt feelings, but only Robin notices and attempts to comfort her. When Blackfire appears, Starfire becomes annoyed that she is beginning to take her place on the team, but is more upset when she begins flirting with Robin. Robin is also concerned and worried about Starfire when she is the target of unknown aliens who are after her. ![]() This episode reveals that Robin and Starfire share a close relationship and are best friends since Robin takes the time to teach Starfire about Earth and it’s customs. This is the very first episode that focuses on the growing romantic relationship between Robin and Starfire.
